ISO-RC® insulating and sealing putty
Permanently plastic hydrophobic insulating putty
ISO-RC® insulating and sealing putty is a permanently plastic, fiber-free, kneadable sealing material based on hydrophobic polymers and minerals. The material is used for sealing and as water- and airtight protection for moisture- and corrosion-sensitive components, e.g. for damp-room cable accessories (switches, junction boxes, closure). ISO-RC® insulating and sealing putty is RoHS compliant and free of heavy metals, aromatics and halogens.
The advantages of ISO-RC® insulating and sealing putty are:
- can be kneaded by hand in summer and winter
- no heating required before application
- does not petrify, permanently plastic, suitable for tropical environments
- low water absorption

Storage and transport
Store packaging dry and unloaded at <60°C. Shelf life at least 5 years.
Processing
To use, knead the putty preferably at room temperature and apply it thickly to the area to be sealed. The putty is not a toy.
