ISO-LITH Paste 3AN
Drying agent

ISO-LITH Powder 3AN / Paste 3AN
ISO-LITH Powder 3AN and Paste 3AN are highly effective drying agents (moisture adsorbents) for plastics, coatings and paint systems. Three types with different active ingredient contents are available. ISO-LITH Powder 3AN or ISO-LITH Paste 3AN contain a zeolite mineral with a defined cavity structure (pore size 3 Å). Water molecules from the organic binders to be dried, selectively diffuse into the cavities of the syn-thetically produced material and are bound by adsorption. A typical application is the preparation of polyurethane formulations with ISO-LITH Paste or Powder. This reliably prevents the formation of carbon dioxide bubbles when the isocyanate hardener component is added. The product is RoHS compliant according to EU Directives 2011/65/EU (“RoHS”) and 2015/863/EU (“RoHS III”).
Area of application
For non-foaming polyurethane formulations, for casting resins, adhesives and coating materials.

Packaging
Metal containers of 10 – 30 kg content, clamping ring drums, reusable containers, or by arrangement. ISO-LITH Powder also in PE bags available.
Storage and transport
Store in a dry and airtight, closed container at 10 – 35°C. Can be stored for at least 9 months in original sealed containers under the above conditions. Short-term deviations during trans-port and storage are acceptable.
Processing
Paste: Stir up the container thoroughly before use to remove any possible sedimentation. The ideal processing temperature is 10 – 35°C.
