Cast resin branch cables boxes
In electrical engineering, branch joints with casting resins are indispensable tools that have to meet high expectations. They are used to permanently protect cables from moisture, dust and the ingress of foreign bodies. Cable accessories, also known as cast resin joints, are an innovative solution for these requirements.
Our casting resin cable box set consist of a two-part, halogen-free sleeve housing in a bulbous shape to accommodate a clamping ring. The branch is arranged parallel to the straight-through cable. Installation is greatly simplified by the existing hinge technology and pre-punched foam seals with break-out rings. On request, the seal can be supplied already glued in and later adjusted to the cable diameter without tools.
The cable box is electrically and mechanically protected by a hydrophobic casting resin with ecologically optimized potting compounds. Our certified casting resins are particularly suitable for this purpose and one resin is available even without labeling or training. The transparent box allows a visual inspection of the filling process and is not brittle.
