Canister with ISO-RC® Liquid Polyurethane Cleaner RA

ISO-RC® Liquid Polyurethane Cleaner RA is a plant oil-based flushing liquid for mixing and dosing systems on which polyester and poly-ether-based polyurethane resins are processed in combination with MDI, TDI, HDI and IPDI. The product is halogen and label-free and made from renewable raw materials. ISO-RC® Liquid Polyurethane Cleaner RA does not react with isocyanates and can also be used for filling of systems during downtimes. The material is available in drums or IBC‘s and is also offered as a cleaning paste in hobbocks and drums, so that direct use in the pump is possible. The product is RoHS compliant according to EU Directives 2011/65/EU (“RoHS”) and 2015/863/EU (“RoHS III”).

Storage and transport

Store in a dry and airtight, closed container at 10 – 35°C. Can be stored for at least 24 months in original sealed containers under the above conditions. Short-term deviations during trans-port and storage are acceptable.

Cleaning

To clean the equipment, flush the system with the cleaning liquid or paste until no more traces of contamination are visible. If necessary, a knotted piece of cloth can be inserted into the pipe and pushed through for enhanced cleaning.

For subsequent cleaning, we recommend ISO-RC® Cold Cleaner HP89-5.

Processing

During processing, it is particularly important to wear protective glasses. Since cleaning may release substances that are hazardous to health, additional protective clothing must be worn. The used cleaner must be disposed as polyurethane waste.
