
ISO-RC® Screw Lock Varnish DIDA-07/25
Solvent-free and moisture-reactive varnish
ISO-RC® Screw Lock Varnish DIDA-07/25 is a one-component, solvent-free and moisture-reactive varnish for the permanent fixing and sealing of screw connections. Unlike conventional screw lock varnishes, it does not require metal ions for curing. Through a chemical reaction with ambient moisture, the varnish forms a durable, firmly adhering coating. The cured varnish reliably secures connections against loosening due to vibration or mechanical stress and also enables the visual detection of tampering. The varnish adheres to virtually all substrates and shows good chemical resistance. The product is compliant according to EU Directives 2011/65/EU (“RoHS”) and 2015/863/EU (“RoHS III”).

Delivery form
Bottles containing at least 50 g (≈ 50 ml) are available. Other packaging options are available on request.
Storage and transport
Store in a dry and airtight, closed container at 10 – 30°C. Can be stored for at least 12 months in original sealed containers under the above conditions. Short-term deviations during transport and storage are acceptable.
Cleaning
To ensure good adhesion of the varnish, the customer should individually test the suitability of the involved surfaces. Any necessary pretreatments, such as cleaning, should also be taken into account. The contact surfaces should be free of dirt such as dust, grease, or water. For cleaning we recommend ISO-RC® Degreaser for wipe degreasing or ISO-RC® Flux-Off + ISO-RC® Spraywash for spray degreasing (available in 400 ml spray cans).
Processing
Application is done by dripping onto a dust- and grease-free surface. Keep away from flames, do not apply to hot surfaces, and ensure good ventilation.
